HOTEL FUJIYA is a lodge surrounded by magnificent nature that enables you to fully enjoy Joshin’etsukogen National Park and the Sugadairakogen Highlands. The surrounding area is a vast mountain region boasting some of the best quality snowfall in Japan, and the ski slopes are just a ten-minute walk from the hotel, a location sure to delight those wanting to play in the snow. For breakfast and dinner, the hotel provides combo meals rich in local color made from local produce and featuring home style cooking representative of Nagano Prefecture. Meals shown in the photographs are examples; menu items during your stay may differ. For guests staying more than one night, we also ensure that different menu items are served each day.

We also provide a free shuttle bus service to the Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort.
Known for its high quality smooth powder snow, this popular ski slope has the added appeal of enabling long cruising for 6 km from the peak of Mt. Neko! Covering some 175 ha, the vast ski slope provides a total of 60 diverse skiing/snowboarding courses for visitors to enjoy. HOTEL FUJIYA guests receive a special ski slope discount, as well as a free shuttle bus service between the hotel and ski slope. There is a rental shop a three-minute walk from the hotel, so there is no need for you to bring your own skiing equipment to enjoy gliding down the ski slopes.

- Zenko-ji Temple 60 minutes One of Japan’s representative Buddhist temples, Zenko-ji has a long history dating back some 1,400 years. The statue of the Amida Buddha enshrined here is said to be the oldest Buddhist statue in Japan. The dam can only be accessed by designated bus services from Ogizawa Station.
